This 1:1 personalised coaching is to help you transition more easily through menopause and covers an holistic approach to coping with menopause and lessening your symptoms, whichever they may be. It starts with an in person (where possible) session* to explain to you the key factors of the menopause and is a chance for you to talk. This all allows me to start formulating a plan for you.
It is the most fabulous journey for you - and I’ll be there all the way to guide, coach and advise you. It’s an incredibly thorough, all encompassing course and you’ll emerge from it a whole new you - the person you thought had abandoned you is on her way back.
- You’ll learn how to eat and cook appropriately - meal plans, cupboard essentials, nutritional guidance, weekly shopping lists and so much more. Eating the mediterranean diet will become second nature and you’ll learn how to control your blood sugar and insulin levels. You’ll learn how to reduce the inflammation in your body and lose weight. Our BMR slows down 15% in menopause so it's harder to lose weight, especially with the redistribution of the white adipose fat tissue. Let's target the inflammation in your body.
- You’ll learn how to exercise appropriately - It’s no longer about HIIT which stresses the body and causes us to hold onto fat. It’s about looking after your heart and your blood vessels to reduce inflammation. You’ll become confident to go to the gym alone or train at home by yourself. You’ll establish an exercise routine and learn to love the endorphins that go with exercising. Strength training is now non-negotiable for building and maintaining muscle mass.
- You’ll learn how to sleep all night - no more insomnia, tossing and turning, getting up to pee. No more lying awake worrying or stressing about things you can’t control. No more night sweats and wet sheets. The less we sleep, the higher our levels of cortisol become therefore the more stressed we are the less we sleep and the inflammation in our bodies becomes even more prominent. Menopause can place us in a very vicious circle - which in turn often leads to depression. Let's put this behind you and increase your energy levels.
- You’ll learn how to control your stress - no more anxiety or panic attacks. We’ll find the root cause of your stress and discuss the best anti stress practices for you and introduce them to your daily routine. You’ll learn to stress dump before bed and how to release all your worries before bed time. We’ll put your life into prospective and find a way to decrease the inflammation in your body by returning your cortisol levels back to normal and by giving your adrenals a well deserved break - which will also restore your vitamin c levels.
- You’ll learn how to find your sense of purpose - no one can exist without having a sense of pride in themselves and pride comes from appreciating what you’ve achieved - whether you’re a stay at home mum or a high flying exec, everyone needs to recognise how fabulous they are and have their own sense of purpose - a reason to get up.. We’ll find you a hobby, a practice, a group - who knows, we may turn you into a marathon runner and sport becomes your sense of purpose.
- You’ll learn how to find your sense of community - we all need to feel loved to give love. Being part of a community, knowing that people care about you and that people need you is incredibly important. You’re not a stand alone figure , you’re part of a team.
